# Cinematic & Photorealistic Shot Skill

## Purpose
Turn any idea into a production-grade cinematic shot or a multi-shot sequence that looks like it was filmed on a real camera, not generated.

## When to use
- The user asks for a movie shot, cinematic scene, film still, trailer shot, or photorealistic image/video.
- The user gives a story idea and wants it broken into shots.

## Workflow (follow in order)
1. **Clarify the beat.** One shot = one idea. State it in one sentence (who, doing what, where, mood).
2. **Pick the shot spec** using the tables below: shot size, lens, camera angle, camera movement, lighting, color grade, film look.
3. **Build the prompt** with the formula below. Use the Python builder if code execution is available.
4. **Generate a keyframe image first**, then animate it to video (image-to-video gives better consistency than text-to-video).
5. **Run the quality checklist.** Regenerate if any item fails.
6. **For sequences**, reuse the same character description, wardrobe, color grade and seed in every shot (continuity).

## Prompt formula
```
[Shot size], [subject + action + wardrobe], [environment + time of day],
[lighting], [lens + aperture + camera angle], [camera movement (video only)],
[color grade + film look], [texture/realism details], [aspect ratio]
```

Example:
```
Medium close-up, a weary female soldier in a scratched steel breastplate looking at the horizon,
ruined castle courtyard at golden hour, low sun rim light with soft fill from bounce,
85mm lens f/1.8 shallow depth of field eye-level, slow push-in,
teal-and-orange grade, 35mm film grain, skin pores and dust particles visible,
2.39:1 anamorphic
```

## Reference tables

### Shot size
| Name | Use |
|---|---|
| Extreme wide (EWS) | Establish world, scale |
| Wide (WS) | Subject in environment |
| Medium (MS) | Dialogue, action |
| Medium close-up (MCU) | Emotion with context |
| Close-up (CU) | Face, emotion |
| Extreme close-up (ECU) | Eyes, detail, tension |
| Over-the-shoulder (OTS) | Conversation |
| Insert | Object detail |

### Lens (choose one)
- 24mm: wide, immersive, environments
- 35mm: natural, documentary feel
- 50mm: neutral, human eye
- 85mm: portrait, flattering compression, shallow depth of field
- 135mm: strong compression, isolated subject
- Anamorphic 40mm: horizontal flares, oval bokeh, widescreen look

### Camera angle
Eye-level (neutral), low angle (power), high angle (vulnerability), Dutch tilt (unease), top-down (map-like), POV.

### Camera movement (video; use only ONE per shot)
Static locked-off, slow push-in, pull-out, pan left/right, tilt up/down, dolly, tracking shot, orbit, handheld subtle, crane up, drone fly-over.

### Lighting
Golden hour, blue hour, overcast soft light, hard noon sun, neon night, candlelight, volumetric god rays, rim/back light, Rembrandt, low-key chiaroscuro, high-key.

### Color grade / film look
Teal-and-orange, desaturated cold blockbuster, warm vintage 70s, bleach bypass, monochrome noir, pastel dream, Kodak Portra 400, Kodak Vision3 500T, ARRI Alexa look, IMAX clarity.

## Photorealism rules
1. Always include real-camera terms (lens, aperture, film or sensor look).
2. Add imperfections: skin pores, flyaway hair, dust, lens flare, film grain, slight vignette, motion blur on fast motion.
3. Use physically plausible light: one clear key light direction, correct shadows.
4. Specify materials: wet asphalt, worn leather, brushed steel, wool.
5. Avoid "perfect" words (flawless, 8k ultra HD, hyper-detailed). They produce a plastic CGI look.
6. Keep hands simple (holding an object or out of frame) to avoid anatomy errors.
7. No readable text, logos or brand names inside the frame unless required.

## Video rules
- Duration: 3 to 6 seconds per shot; stitch shots in an editor.
- One subject action and one camera move per shot.
- Describe motion in present tense and slow terms ("slowly turns head"); fast chaotic motion causes artifacts.
- Keep the background simple and consistent between shots
