# Mermaid in the Tank — Dark Sci-Fi Thriller

A cinematic dark sci-fi thriller universe: a captive mermaid with silvery-grey hair and an iridescent green tail floats in a glowing cyan tank inside a cold, industrial laboratory, observed by scientists. Cold blues, greens, and blacks; eerie, dramatic, unsettling atmosphere. Tagline: *"Some discoveries should stay buried."*

## When to use
- User wants a poster / key art, a character identity sheet, a scene still, a short video clip, or a multi-scene story/episode in this universe.
- User wants to advance or change a single step (rewrite a scene, generate the next clip, restyle a character, mix an episode).

## Style lock (default unless user says otherwise)
- Palette: cold cyan/blue, emerald green, deep black shadows; faint mist/fog; glowing monitors and metal pipes in the background.
- Mood: eerie, dramatic, unsettling, cinematic thriller.
- Format: `portrait` (9:16) for social/poster; `landscape` (16:9) for film. Ask if unclear; default to `portrait`.
- Resolution: `720P` default; use `1080P` for final hero shots.

## Reference files
- `references/style-guide.md`: full visual style guide and character bible. Read it before generating when the user wants a character sheet or a multi-scene story; for a single poster/scene you may rely on the style lock above.

## Steps

1. **Clarify scope** (one quick question if not obvious): what does the user want — a poster/key art, a character identity sheet, a scene still, a short video clip, or a multi-scene story/episode? And orientation (portrait/landscape) if not stated.

2. **For multi-step workflows**, first call `write_todos` to list the steps, then update the whole list as you progress (at most one in_progress at a time).

3. **Generate images** with `generate_image`:
   - Text-to-image (no reference): `model='t2i'`.
   - Image-to-image / restyle / keep style consistent with an existing asset: `model='i2i'`, pass the source asset_id in `input_urls`. To match the original poster's look, reference the preset asset `mermaid_poster` (see Notes).
   - Always write the prompt in English, describing the scene in detail, and append the style lock (palette, mood, mist, monitors).
   - Pass `name` and `entity_type` per the table below.

4. **Generate video clips** with `generate_video`:
   - Single still → motion: `model='i2v'`, pass the still's asset_id as the start frame.
   - Keep character/subject consistent across a clip: `model='ref2v'`, pass 1+ reference images (e.g. the character sheet) in `input_urls`.
   - Pure text-to-video (no image): `model='t2v'`.
   - Video generation does not support NSFW/adult content on any channel — keep clips to the thriller/atmospheric register.
   - Pass `name` and `entity_type` per the table below.

5. **Voiceover (optional)**: `generate_tts` with `model='tts.design'` and an English `voice_instruction` (e.g. cold, clinical scientist; haunting, sorrowful mermaid). `entity_type='voiceovers'`.

6. **Score (optional)**: `generate_music` with a prompt describing the mood (e.g. "tense ambient sci-fi underscore, deep sub-bass, eerie underwater drones, cold and unsettling"). `entity_type='music'`.

7. **Mix an episode (optional)**: `mix_clips` to concatenate clips and mix audio; pass `orientation` matching the clips. `entity_type='final_videos'`.

8. **Multi-scene story/episode**: write the script as a Markdown document with `create_document` (`entity_type='scripts'`), then generate storyboard stills per scene, then clips, then mix. For a script-only request, stop after the document.

9. **Reply** in natural language summarizing what was produced; don't paste large URL blocks. When a stage completes, call `set_guidance` to suggest next actions (e.g. "generate the next clip", "restyle the mermaid", "mix the episode").
