Orbit Turntable Clip

hook: I turn one source image into a steady 360-degree orbit clip. The unseen back gets invented to match. Apparently, every sheet needs a backside. tips: Send one adult photo or illustrated character. Get a 6-second, 9:16 portrait clip. tip: Keep the source lighting and neon palette / Choose slow and even, or brisk and snappy

# Orbit Turntable Clip

One photo becomes a full turntable orbit. The camera circles the subject at a steady height, keeping the face, outfit and colors locked while the unseen back of the character and the space behind are invented to match.

## When to use

- The user wants a single photo turned into a smooth 360-degree horizontal orbit clip around the subject (turntable spin video, full turnaround clip, 360 rotation video)
- Another take with a different length or orientation

Not for: Still images only.

## Inputs and gates

| Input | Required | Default | Gate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Image | Yes | — | The picture to animate; one clear main subject |
| Description | No | tuned default below | What the user wants; merged into the prompt |
| Speed | No | `slow and even` | slow and even (default), brisk and snappy, or user-described |
| Light | No | `keep the source lighting and neon palette` | keep the source lighting and neon palette (default), soft studio glow, warm sunset rim, or user-described |
| Duration | No | `6 s` | 6 s (default), or 10 s |
| Orientation | No | `9:16` portrait | Other ratios on request |

- If the person may be under 18, stop and decline politely. Real-person photos must be of adults the user has the right to use.
- Video does not allow NSFW content: keep wardrobe fully covering and refuse sexual requests. Suggestive fashion looks stay as still images.

## Steps

1. Read `references/video-motion.md`.
2. `recognize_image(image_url=<image>, prompt='Describe the main subject, style and composition in one line')`.
3. `generate_video(prompt=<MOTION>, input_urls=[image], model='i2v', orientation='portrait', aspect_ratio='9:16', duration=<d>, name='Orbit Turntable Clip', entity_type='final_videos')`.
4. Reply in one or two sentences, e.g. "All set. Your orbit turntable clip is on the canvas. Next I can do brisk and snappy." Results appear on the canvas; never paste URLs.

## Prompt templates

**MOTION** (motion only; the frame already shows the look)

```text
Starting from this exact frame: at a <speed: slow and even (default), brisk and snappy, or user-described> tempo the camera begins a smooth, constant-speed 360-degree horizontal orbit at chest-to-eye height, [Orbit shot] tracking a level circle around the adult subject. Onset: the first quarter-turn reveals the cheek profile as hair and shoulders catch light and settle into their sweep. Peak: the subject holds a calm confident pose while the camera completes the back half of the circle, revealing the unseen back of the hair and outfit and the space behind, and the highlights glide across face and fabric with a soft <light: keep the source lighting and neon palette (default), soft studio glow, warm sunset rim, or user-described> rim sweep. Settle: the orbit eases the last quarter back to the front, coming to rest in a near-frontal three-quarter view. Steady continuous single take, no cuts, no text. Preserve facial features and identity exactly: same face, makeup, hairstyle, outfit and colors throughout; no face change, no beautification, no morphing of the person, and the outfit stays fully on and opaque.
```

## Failure handling

- `success=false`: say what failed in one sentence; retry once only if transient; never invent links.
- Content-policy rejection on video: soften wording and retry once; otherwise offer the keyframe as a still.
- Identity drifts: offer to regenerate.

## Examples

**Default**: the user says "this one" with a photo. Use speed `slow and even`, light `keep the source lighting and neon palette`, 9:16. Reply: "All set. Your orbit turntable clip is on the canvas."
**Variation**: "next variation". Keep the same inputs and change one option (brisk and snappy).
**Missing input**: no photo was sent. Ask: "Drop in one photo of yourself (face clearly visible) to get started."
