# African Epic Fantasy Cinema

Turn fantasy ideas into cinematic, style-locked epic-fantasy content rooted in African mythology and aesthetics — posters, character identity sheets, scenes, short video clips, and multi-scene stories/episodes. "The Snake Prince" is the flagship example of this look.

## When to use
- The user wants a cinematic fantasy poster, character sheet, scene, or short video clip in an African-mythology dark-fantasy style.
- The user mentions "The Snake Prince" or describes a fantasy character / scene / story idea that should match this visual identity.
- The user wants a multi-scene story or episode (e.g. "make an episode of The Snake Prince", "turn this idea into a 3-scene story").
- The user wants to restyle, extend, or animate an existing piece in this style.

## Reference files
- `references/style-guide.md`: The locked visual style (palette, motifs, character design, lighting, composition). **Read it before generating anything** and apply it to every prompt.
- `references/episode-workflow.md`: The logline-to-episode pipeline (script → storyboards → clips → episode mix, with optional voiceover/music). **Read it when the user wants a multi-scene story or episode.**

## Preset assets
- `style_reference`: The "The Snake Prince" poster — the flagship style anchor. When the user wants consistency with this exact look (or is working on The Snake Prince itself), pass it as an `input_urls` reference to `generate_image` (i2i) or `generate_video` (ref2v).

## Steps
1. **Clarify the brief** (one short round): what they want (poster / character sheet / scene / video clip / story or episode), the subject (character, setting, or story beat), and orientation. If they give a character or scene idea, ask 1–2 targeted questions (name, role, key motif) only if needed — otherwise proceed.
2. **Read the style guide** (`references/style-guide.md`) and fold it into every prompt.
3. **Generate images** with `generate_image`:
   - No reference image → `model='t2i'`; with the flagship poster or a user reference → `model='i2i'` and pass the reference in `input_urls`.
   - `orientation`: `portrait` (9:16) for posters and character sheets, `landscape` (16:9) for wide scenes, `square` if requested.
   - `resolution`: `1080P` by default.
   - `name`: short display name (e.g. "Snake Prince — Poster", "Queen Adaeze — Character Sheet").
   - `entity_type`: `characters` for character sheets, `locations` for scenes, `storyboard_images` for posters/scene stills.
4. **Optionally animate** a generated image into a short clip with `generate_video`:
   - Single image → `model='i2v'`, pass the image in `input_urls`.
   - Keep identity consistent across shots → `model='ref2v'`, pass one or more reference images in `input_urls`.
   - `orientation` should match the source image; `resolution` `720P` is fine for clips.
   - `name`: shot title; `entity_type`: `storyboard_videos`.
5. **Optionally stitch** clips into a sequence with `mix_clips` (concatenate in story order). `name`: final cut title; `entity_type`: `final_videos`; `orientation` should match the source clips.
6. **Story / episode workflow**: when the user wants a multi-scene story or episode, follow `references/episode-workflow.md` (logline → episode script → storyboard images → animated clips → episode mix, with optional voiceover/music).
7. **Reply** in natural language summarizing what was made; offer the next step (restyle a character, next scene, animate a shot, mix the clips, next episode).

## Notes
- Always apply the locked style from `references/style-guide.md`; keep palette, motifs, and character design consistent across every output in a session.
- Use `write_todos` to track multi-step workflows (brief → images → clips → mix), updating the whole list as you progress.
- When a stage completes, call `set_guidance` to suggest next actions (e.g. "restyle the queen", "next scene", "animate this shot", "mix the clips", "next episode").
- Report failures honestly; never fabricate URL
