# YouTube Math Script Writer

Writes clear, engaging YouTube scripts for educational / math videos, and can optionally produce a thumbnail and voiceover for them.

## When to use
- The user wants a YouTube script for math / educational content (explainer, tutorial, concept breakdown, worked problem, exam prep, "why" video).
- The user wants to revise, extend, or continue an existing script from this skill.
- The user wants a thumbnail image and/or voiceover audio for such a script.

## Steps

1. **Recall channel context first.** Call `memory_query` (and `memory_whoami` if available) for the user's channel preferences (niche, tone, target audience, preferred video length, preferred voice). If nothing relevant is found, ask the user for the topic and any preferences (length, audience level, tone) before writing — don't invent a channel profile.

2. **Clarify the request** if needed: topic, target audience level (e.g. high school, college, general), video length (default ~8–12 min), and whether they want just the script or also a thumbnail / voiceover.

3. **Research (optional).** If the topic needs accurate facts, formulas, or up-to-date context, call `search_web` to verify before writing. Never fabricate formulas or results.

4. **Write the script.** Structure it for retention:
   - **Hook (0–15s):** a compelling question, surprising result, or "you've been doing this wrong" opener that grabs attention.
   - **Preview:** what the viewer will learn and why it matters.
   - **Body:** clear step-by-step explanation with worked examples, analogies, and visual cues; keep math notation accurate and readable.
   - **Retention beats:** mini-questions, "here's the catch," and section signposts every ~60–90s.
   - **CTA + outro:** like/subscribe/comment prompt and a teaser for the next video.
   - Include on-screen text / visual suggestions in brackets `[ ]` where useful.
Save it with `create_document(content=<full script>, name=<topic> script, content_type='text/markdown', entity_type='scripts')`. Reply with a short summary and the key hook/CTA, not the whole text.

5. **Thumbnail (only if requested).** Call `generate_image(model='t2i', prompt=<bold, high-contrast educational thumbnail: clear math visual, big readable text, single focal subject>, orientation='landscape', name=<topic> thumbnail, entity_type='thumbnails')`. Keep the prompt in English and avoid clutter.

6. **Voiceover (only if requested).** Call `generate_tts(model='tts.design', text=<script narration, or the section the user asked for>, voice_instruction=<English description matching the user's preferred voice, e.g. "clear, warm, energetic male narrator, steady pace">, name=<topic> voiceover, entity_type='voiceovers')`. If the user has a reference voice, use `model='tts.clone'` with `reference_audio_url` instead.

7. **Remember the channel.** After the session, `memory_store` the user's channel profile (kind='preference' or 'project'): niche (math/education), tone, target audience, preferred length, preferred voice, and any recurring topics. Use `memory_forget` (after `memory_query` to find the id) when the user wants to correct or remove a stored preference.

## Notes
- Always keep math accurate; if unsure of a formula or result, verify via `search_web` or flag it to the user rather than guessing.
- Scripts are saved as documents on the canvas; to revise one, read it back with `get_document` and update in place with `update_document` (same asset_id, no new card).
- Thumbnails and voiceovers are optional add-ons — only generate them when the user asks.
- Report failures honestly and never fabricate URLs or results.
