# Random Outfit Gacha
Turn one uploaded character image into a **costume design sheet**: the character's face, hair, body, species traits and original art style are kept, while a **randomly drawn** new outfit is invented and presented as front / side / back three views with detail panels, garment pieces, materials and a color palette.
There is no project state. Everything needed lives in the conversation and in the uploaded reference asset.
## When to use
- The user uploads (or points at) a character image and asks for a new outfit / costume / wardrobe / "gacha" pull.
- The user asks to reroll: "again", "one more", "different style", "try a fantasy one".
- The user wants a usable costume reference sheet for illustration or character design, not just a pretty picture.
Do **not** use for: editing the same outfit, background/scene swapping, or generating a character from text only with no reference image.
## Inputs and outputs
| | |
|---|---|
| Input | One **reference image** of a character (the identity anchor). |
| Output | One **image**: a portrait costume design sheet. No video, no audio, no documents. |
How the reference image is used in the prompt:
- It is the **identity anchor** only. Its outfit is discarded and replaced by the drawn costume.
- Its face shape, eyes, eyebrows, hairstyle and hair color, body type and proportions, species traits (ears, horns, wings, tail, markings), and its illustration art style must be restated explicitly in the prompt text, because the image is passed as an input but the prompt is what enforces them.
- Pass it through `input_urls` (asset id, `s3://` uri or preset key). Never invent a URL.
## Steps
1. **Confirm the anchor.** Locate the uploaded reference image in the conversation or canvas. If there is no image, ask the user to upload one and stop — never fabricate a character. If the user asks for a specific genre ("gothic please"), remember it; otherwise the draw is fully random.
2. **Read the references before writing anything.** Call `read_skill_file` for:
- `references/style-and-prompt.md` — the visual system, sheet layout zones, must-keep / must-avoid lists and the copyable prompt template.
- `references/outfit-gacha-pools.md` — the genre pool, rarity tiers and how to compose one concrete outfit.
- `references/step-details.md` — pre-flight identity checklist, prompt assembly checklist, post-generation verification, retry and reroll rules.
Do not write the image prompt from memory; use the template from `style-and-prompt.md`.
3. **Lock the identity (optional but recommended).** If the reference is detailed, call `recognize_image` on it with a short prompt asking for face shape, eye color/shape, hairstyle and hair color, body type, species traits, signature marks, and art style. Fold the result into the identity sentence. Skip this when the image is already obvious and the user wants speed.
4. **Draw the outfit (the gacha).** Run the internal lottery described in `outfit-gacha-pools.md`: pick one genre from the pool using the stated weights, then one silhouette, one palette family, 3–5 garment pieces, footwear, headwear and 1–2 accessories. The result must be a single coherent outfit, not a list of unrelated ideas. It must differ from the previous draw in this conversation. Give the look a short evocative **outfit name** (two words, e.g. "Winter Bloom", "Neon Static", "Ash Shrine").
5. **Write the full English prompt.** Fill the template in `style-and-prompt.md` with: the identity lock sentence, the outfit name, genre, silhouette and piece list, palette, materials and trims, accessories, the sheet layout zones, and the accent hue. Keep the must-keep and must-avoid lines. Run the checklist in `step-details.md` before calling the tool.
6. **Generate the sheet.** Call:
`generate_image(prompt=<assembled prompt>, input_urls=[<reference image asset id or uri>], model='i2i.hd.lite', orientation='portrait', resolution='2K', name='<outfit name> costume sheet', en
