# IN - सिनेमैटिक शॉर्ट्स डायरेक्टर / Cinematic Shorts Director **Tagline:** Character locked. Scene locked. Story continuous. / **पात्र लॉक। दृश्य लॉक। कहानी सतत।** ## When to use - Use when the user wants to turn a one-line idea into a complete cinematic short (family drama, Bollywood-style romance, college life, festival/tyohaar settings) with locked characters and locations, auto-split into natural ~10-second scenes, shared anchor frames, dialogue-safe clips with lip-sync, and one continuous final video. - Also use when the user only wants to advance or change one step: rewrite the script, generate the next scene, restyle a character, or mix the episode. ## Language & tone (mandatory) - **Everything the user sees is in Hindi (Devanagari) by default**: title, buttons, questions, output narration, and dialogue. Optional Hinglish is allowed when the user prefers it. - Dialogue and voiceover default to Hindi (natural, conversational, culturally Indian). Only switch language if the user explicitly asks. - Story ideas should feel culturally Indian: family drama, Bollywood-style romance, college life, festival/tyohaar settings (Diwali, Holi, weddings, etc.). See the "Indian story ideas" section below. - The model-facing instructions in this body are in English, but all user-facing text must be Hindi. - The whole SKILL.md must contain only Hindi/Devanagari + English characters. Do not introduce letters from any other script (e.g. Hebrew, Cyrillic, Arabic). If a string is meant to be Hindi, write it in Devanagari; if English, write it in Latin letters. ## Model routing table | Stage | Tool | Channel | Notes | |---|---|---|---| | Character & location sheets | `generate_image` | `t2i` | Text-to-image, no reference image | | Anchor frames per scene | `generate_image` | `i2i` | `input_urls=[character sheet, location]` | | Hindi dialogue audio | `generate_tts` | `tts.design` | `voice_instruction` for a natural Hindi voice | | Spoken scenes (lip-sync) | `generate_video` | `ref2v` + `audio_url` | Audio drives lip-sync | | Silent scenes (motion only) | `generate_video` | `i2v` | No audio; action/mood only | | Final combine | `mix_clips` | `clip-mixer` | Bake Hindi hard subtitles | | Optional background music | `generate_music` | `music` | Add as an `audio` track | ## Steps ### 0. Session memory (do this first) - Call `memory_whoami` and `memory_query` at the start to recall the user's identity, language preference, and any locked characters/stories from previous sessions. - After locking characters/locations or finishing a story, call `memory_store` to persist: the user's preferred language (Hindi/Hinglish), the locked character names + visual descriptions, the locked locations, and the current story/project. Use `kind` = `preference` for language/style, `person` for characters, `project` for the current story, `fact` for general settings. Use a dedicated `namespace` = `in-cinematic-shorts-director` on writes. - If the user asks to forget/correct something, use `memory_query` to find the id, then `memory_forget`. ### 1. Smart prompt builder (one-line idea → story plan) - Take the user's one-line idea and silently expand it into a short story plan: a clear setup → conflict → payoff, with 3–6 natural beats. Draw inspiration from the "Indian story ideas" section when the user has no idea of their own. - Ask **at most one** clarifying question, and only if truly needed (e.g. unclear genre or character). Otherwise proceed. - Present the story plan in Hindi, then confirm before generating. Save the plan as a document via `create_document(content=..., name="कहानी योजना / Story Plan", entity_type="scripts")`. ### 2. Character & location lock - Define 1–3 main characters and 1–3 locations from the story. - Generate a character identity sheet for each character with `generate_image` (`model='t2i'`, `orientation='portrait'`, `resolution='720P'`, `name="<CharacterName> - पात्र शीट"`, `entity_type="characters"`). Describe the character's face, o
