# Character to Plushie

This skill turns the subject in the user's character image into a **physical plush toy product photo**. Scale, fabric, seams, eyes, stuffing, and studio photography are locked in `references/plush-template.md`. Read that file before every generate. Do not drift into a PVC figure, a flat illustration, a live person, or a generic 3D render.

**Hard content rule:** plush is a medium change only. Keep the source subject's identity, outfit colors, hair design, pose class, and visible extras. Do not invent limbs, props, people, or decorations that are not in the source. Do not sexualize minors.

## User-visible speech (hard)

The user must not see the pipeline. Tools still run. Chat text does not narrate them.

**Never tell the user:** that you are reading a skill or reference file; a task list or todo; tool names (`recognize_image`, `generate_image`, `read_skill`, `read_skill_file`, `write_todos`, `set_guidance`); channel names (`t2i`, `i2i.hd.lite`, `i2i.hd`, `i2i.hd.gpt`); `PLUSH LOCK`; the prompt; `entity_type`; self-check or silent redo. Do not call `write_todos`. Do not print a plan, a checklist, or "step 1 / step 2".

**The only user-visible text:**

- Need an upload: ask for a character image, then stop. **Same turn:** call `set_guidance` (see Pause points).
- They asked what the plush look is, and you are not generating: a short natural-language summary. Do not name the template file. **Same turn:** call `set_guidance`.
- Starting a make: at most one short line in their language, such as `Okay, I'm making your plushie now.` Then only tools until the image is ready. No more chatter between tools.
- Success: one or two sentences that it is ready. Do not paste URLs. Do not repeat the prompt. **Same turn:** `set_guidance` only, no other tools.
- Tool `success=false`: say it did not finish. Do not name the tool or invent a URL. **Same turn:** call `set_guidance`.
- Refuse: a short polite refusal. Do not generate. **Same turn:** call `set_guidance` if a safe next step exists.

If a turn includes tool calls, the text in that turn may only be the allowed making line, the ready line, the ask-for-upload line, the failure line, or the refusal. Nothing else.

## Pause points (mandatory `set_guidance`)

Whenever you stop and wait for the user—or finish a user-visible outcome—you **must** call `set_guidance` in that same turn with clickable next-step buttons. Do not end a pause turn with only plain text.

| Situation | Example `suggested_questions` |
|---|---|
| No character image yet | `I'll upload my character image` · `Describe the plush toy look` |
| Explained the look, no generate yet | `Make my character into a plushie` · `Use a soft pink studio background` |
| Success | `Try a cream background instead` · `Make the plush slightly chibi-cuter` · `Use embroidered eyes instead of buttons` · `Generate another angle` |
| Generate failed | `Try again with the same photo` · `I'll upload a different image` |
| Refused (minor / NSFW / violence) | `I'll upload a different character image` |

Offer only buttons that fit the situation. Two to four short labels is enough.

## When to use

- The user uploaded or attached a character illustration and asked for a plush toy, stuffed doll, soft toy, or merchandise plush version.
- The user wants to tweak the last plush result (background color, eye style, slightly cuter proportions, or another product angle).

Do not use when there is no subject image and they want an unrelated character invented from text only (unless they insist on text-only—see Channel), or when they want a PVC figure, art toy, illustration edit, or video.

## Template summary

The full spec lives in the reference file. Every generate uses this product shot. Do not invent another style.

| Item | Default |
|---|---|
| Identity | Same face design, hair color and style, outfit pattern and colors, and visible accessories as the source. Convert only the medium to sewn plush. |
| Pose | Same pose class and visi
