Character DNA lock

# Character DNA Lock — Reusable Prompt ## How to use 1. Upload the original character image as the primary reference. 2. Replace the bracketed fields. 3. Keep the “locked details” list specific to your character. 4. If the tool supports region selection/inpainting, select only the area that should change. ## Main prompt (English) Use **@CharacterReference** as the authoritative reference for the character's design. This is an edit of the existing character, not a redesign. **ONLY requested change:** [describe the exact expression / pose / view / other target change]. **Preserve the character identity exactly as shown in the reference:** - Face shape and facial proportions: [describe visible features] - Eyes and eyebrows: [shape, size, spacing, color, line style] - Hair: [silhouette, bangs, length, color] - Signature accessory: [exact shape, color, location, and orientation — e.g. the small hair clip on the character's left side] - Clothing and other details: [list essential details] - Proportions and silhouette: [describe] - Original art style: [line quality, sketch texture, palette, shading, brush/pencil marks, intentional imperfections] Everything except **[target area / target attribute]** must remain unchanged. Preserve the original hand-drawn character and its distinctive imperfections. Match the reference's linework, color treatment, texture, and level of finish. Do not clean up, beautify, modernize, reinterpret, or make the drawing more realistic. **Do not:** alter the face design, eye design, hair silhouette, signature accessory, costume, colors, proportions, or art style; add or remove details; invent hidden features; add extra characters, text, logos, or watermarks. **Composition/output:** [front view / three-quarter view / expression sheet / single image], [background], [aspect ratio if needed]. Show the full requested subject clearly. Keep the character recognizable as the same design in the reference. If any instruction conflicts with preserving identity, preserve the reference design and apply the smallest possible change. ## Example: expression-only edit Use @CharacterReference as the definitive design reference. Change only the facial expression to surprised. Preserve the exact face shape, eye design, hair silhouette, hair clip shape/color/position, clothing, proportions, original sketchy linework, palette, and hand-drawn texture. Do not redesign, polish, beautify, or change the art style. Everything outside the expression must match the reference as closely as the model allows.
