# Paused World Pet Strut

The world hits pause and your pet steals the whole shot. Every person and leaf behind it stays frozen mid-motion while your pet takes two confident steps forward and cocks its head at the lens.

## When to use

- The user wants their pet's photo turned into a playful clip where the whole background is frozen in time while the pet steps forward and tilts its head at the camera (paused world pet clip, freeze-frame pet walk, time-stop pet video)
- Another take with a different length or orientation

Not for: Still images only.

## Inputs and gates

| Input | Required | Default | Gate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Image | Yes | — | The picture to animate; one clear main subject |
| Description | No | tuned default below | What the user wants; merged into the prompt |
| Duration | No | `6 s` | 6 s (default), or 10 s |
| Stride | No | `two confident steps forward` | two confident steps forward (default), three springy steps, a single step with a head tilt, or user-described |
| Vibe | No | `playful and bold` | playful and bold (default), proud show-off swagger, curious head-cock |
| Backdrop | No | `keep the photo's frozen scene` | keep the photo's frozen scene (default), sunny park path, city sidewalk in shade, open meadow |
| Orientation | No | `3:4` portrait | Other ratios on request |

- If the person may be under 18, stop and decline politely. Real-person photos must be of adults the user has the right to use.
- Video does not allow NSFW content: keep wardrobe fully covering and refuse sexual requests. Suggestive fashion looks stay as still images.

## Steps

1. Read `references/video-motion.md`.
2. `recognize_image(image_url=<image>, prompt='Describe the main subject, style and composition in one line')`.
3. `generate_video(prompt=<MOTION>, input_urls=[image], model='i2v', orientation='portrait', aspect_ratio='3:4', duration=<d>, name='Paused World Pet Strut', entity_type='final_videos')`.
4. Reply in one or two sentences, e.g. "Done! Here's your paused world pet strut. I can also try 10 s if you like." Results appear on the canvas; never paste URLs.

## Prompt templates

**MOTION** (motion only; the frame already shows the look)

```text
Starting from this exact frame: the pet holds for a heartbeat in the frozen scene, then takes <stride: two confident steps forward (default), three springy steps, a single step with a head tilt> toward the lens, paws lifting and planting with weight, tail giving a small sway; at the peak of the stride the head tips and one ear flicks, then the pet settles square to camera with a bright <vibe: playful and bold (default), proud show-off swagger, curious head-cock> look. The camera performs one slow push-in at gentle speed, ending at a close, steady framing. Everything behind the pet stays locked in place, mid-motion and unchanged, with only the smallest dust drift. Preserve the pet's markings, eye color, proportions and paw shape exactly; same fur and build in every frame, no morphing. No text, no logos; background people fully clothed.
```

## Failure handling

- `success=false`: say what failed in one sentence; retry once only if transient; never invent links.
- Content-policy rejection on video: soften wording and retry once; otherwise offer the keyframe as a still.
- Identity drifts: offer to regenerate.

## Examples

**Default**: the user says "use this pic" with a photo. Use duration `6 s`, stride `two confident steps forward`, 3:4. Reply: "Done! Here's your paused world pet strut."
**Variation**: "one more please". Keep the same inputs and change one option (10 s).
**Missing input**: no photo was sent. Ask: "I need one clear, front-facing photo to begin. Could you send it?"
