# AI Character Design Sheet

Turn one reference image plus a short text brief into a single, presentation-ready character design sheet: a dominant close-up hero view, a front/side/back turnaround of the same character, detail callouts, and a color palette — all in one unified visual style. Typical turnaround is one generation round, so the user gets a finished sheet in about a minute.

## When to use

- The user uploads a character image (art, photo, cosplay, 3D render, sketch) and asks for a character sheet, turnaround, three-view sheet, model sheet, reference sheet, or design presentation.
- The user gives only a text description of a character and wants a full design sheet built from it.
- The user already has a sheet and wants one part revised (better side view, different outfit detail, cleaner palette, tighter close-up) without losing identity.
- The user wants a consistent character reference for a story, game, comic, or animation.

Do not use for: a plain illustration or poster with no sheet structure, storyboard panels of scenes, or video requests.

## Inputs

- **Reference image (optional but preferred)**: one or more character images from the current conversation or the canvas. Use the asset URL / `asset_id` / preset key exactly as given. Never invent a URL.
- **Text (optional)**: character name, world/genre, personality, outfit notes, must-keep traits, palette wishes, language of the annotation labels, aspect preference.
- At least one of the two is required. If both are missing, ask one short question for a reference image or a character description.

Output is always **one image** (the finished sheet), saved to the canvas.

## Steps

1. **Read the stage map.** Call `read_skill_file` with `path="references/workflow-stages.md"` and follow the stage order it defines (intake → reference analysis → prompt assembly → generation → verification → delivery). Track multi-step work with `write_todos`.

2. **Collect the inputs.** Confirm which reference images apply and what the user explicitly wants kept or changed. If the user wrote in a non-English language, keep their meaning but write the generation prompt in English.

3. **Analyze the reference (only when a reference image exists).** Call `recognize_image` on the reference image with a prompt asking for: face shape and features, hairstyle and color, skin tone, body proportions and height impression, outfit construction and materials, accessories, weapons/props, and the dominant color palette with approximate hex values. Write the result as short bullet notes in your reply so it survives across turns. Skip this step for text-only requests.

4. **Read the sheet content spec.** Call `read_skill_file` with `path="references/character-details.md"` to get the required panels, what each panel must show, which panels to omit when the character has nothing to show there, and the annotation label rules.

5. **Read the style and prompt rules.** Call `read_skill_file` with `path="references/style-and-prompt.md"`. Use its Style / Subject / Layout / Must keep / Must avoid rules and its copy-ready English prompt templates. Do not write the final prompt from memory.

6. **Assemble the final English prompt.** Fill the template from `references/style-and-prompt.md` with the concrete facts from step 3 (or from the user's text). State the layout zones in order, the identity anchors that must stay identical across panels, and the must-avoid list. Keep it specific to this character; no generic filler sentences.

7. **Generate the sheet** with `generate_image`, choosing the channel by input type:
   - Reference image present: `model='i2i.hd.lite'`, `input_urls=[<reference image url/asset_id>]` (first image is the identity anchor; add extra references after it only if the user supplied them).
   - Text only: `model='t2i'`.
   - Always pass a short `name` (for example `"<Character name> character sheet"`) and `entity_type='characters'`.
   - `orientation`: default `landscape` for the wide multi
