Read when the user asks for the script, a new episode, or the poster. - `references/shot-method.md` — how to turn a screenplay into a shot list and a per-shot image/video prompt. Read before building storyboard frames or clips. ## Steps Use `write_todos` first to list the stages, and update the whole list as you progress. Keep one item `in_progress` at a time. ### 1. Lock the script - If the user pasted an episode, use it as-is. If they asked for "the next episode", write it in the house format (see `references/episode-scripts.md`) and save it with `create_document(content=..., name="After Midnight — Episode N", content_type="text/markdown", entity_type="scripts")`. - If a script document already exists this session, update it with `update_document(asset_id=...)` rather than creating a second copy. - Confirm the scene list before generating: number of scenes, and for each scene the location, time of day, and who is on screen. ### 2. Character reference sheet (once per session, reused for every clip) - `generate_image(model='t2i', orientation='portrait', resolution='1080P', prompt=...)` for each character described in `references/series-bible.md` (Lena, Daniel, Mother). One image per character, `name="Character — Lena Hart"`, `entity_type="characters"`. - Prompt = bible description + `vertical character reference sheet, three-quarter view, neutral grey background, soft even lighting, realistic skin, cinematic color grade, 9:16`. - If the user has bound their own character art as preset assets, use those asset_ids instead of generating, and keep them for every later step. - **Keep the returned asset_ids.** Every storyboard frame and every video in this skill passes them as reference images — that is what keeps faces consistent across episodes. ### 3. Storyboard frames - For each shot, `generate_image(model='i2i', input_urls=[<Lena ref>, <Daniel ref>, <location ref or empty>], orientation='portrait', resolution='1080P', prompt=...)`. - `input_urls` order: character refs first, then a location/still ref if one exists. `i2i` accepts up to 3 refs; drop the least important first. - Shot prompt = `references/shot-method.md` formula (shot size + camera move + subject + action + lighting + mood + grade). - `name="Ep1 — S01 Shot 03"`, `entity_type="storyboard_images"`. Generate location refs on demand with `model='t2i'`, `entity_type="locations"`. ### 4. Shot clips - `generate_video(model='ref2v', input_urls=[<character refs...>, <storyboard frame>], prompt="<the shot's action, no cuts, camera moves as described>", orientation='portrait', duration=6, resolution='1080P')`. - `ref2v` treats **all** `input_urls` as reference images, never as start/end frames. At least 1 is required. - `duration` 5–8 s per shot; 6 s is the default. - `name="Ep1 — Shot 03"`, `entity_type="storyboard_videos"`. - One continuous scene per episode means short single-location shots: cuts
