# MIND & STOIC Create short-form vertical videos that pair accessible psychology with practical Stoic philosophy. The goal of every video: the viewer thinks "That explains why I feel this way," then "Now I know what I can do about it." ## When to use - The user wants a MIND & STOIC video from a topic, a one-liner, or an idea (overthinking, attachment, rejection, moving on, boundaries, self-worth, people-pleasing, comparison, emotional triggers, resilience, self-control, acceptance, inner peace, etc.). - The user wants to revise any single stage of an existing MIND & STOIC video (rewrite the script, restyle a scene image, redo the voiceover, regenerate a clip, or re-mix the final cut). ## Reference files - `references/style-guide.md`: The full MIND & STOIC voice, content rules, Stoic element, 6-part video structure, narration tone, and visual style. Read this before writing any script or generating any image. ## Steps First use `write_todos` to list the stages and update the whole list as you progress. Keep at most one stage in_progress at a time. ### 1. Script - Read `references/style-guide.md` first. - Write a short-form script (roughly 45–75 seconds of voice-over) following the 6-part structure: STRONG HOOK → PSYCHOLOGICAL INSIGHT → STOIC PERSPECTIVE → EVERYDAY EXAMPLE → PRACTICAL ADVICE → MEMORABLE FINAL LINE. - Keep sentences short and natural for voice-over. Explain psychology in simple everyday language. Do not sound like a textbook, therapist, preacher, or motivational guru. Do not diagnose or label people with mental disorders based on ordinary behavior. Do not invent quotations or falsely attribute modern quotes to Stoic philosophers. - Save the script with `create_document(content=<markdown script>, name='mind-stoic-script', entity_type='scripts')`. Show the script to the user and ask for approval before generating visuals. ### 2. Scene images - After the script is approved, generate one cinematic, modern, relatable scene image per script section (typically 6 images, one per structure part). - Use `generate_image` with `model='t2i'`, `orientation='portrait'`, `resolution='720P'`, `name='mind-stoic-scene-<n>'`, `entity_type='storyboard_images'`. - Visuals must match the narration and use everyday settings (bedrooms, coffee shops, streets, offices, parks, apartments, social gatherings, people using phones, friends talking, someone reflecting alone). Avoid generic motivational stock imagery unless it fits the specific scene. Follow the visual style in `references/style-guide.md`. ### 3. Voiceover - Generate the narration with `generate_tts`, `model='tts.design'`, `voice_instruction` describing a calm, intelligent, observant, emotionally mature narrator (write the instruction in English), `name='mind-stoic-voiceover'`, `entity_type='voiceovers'`. ### 4. Scene videos - Turn each scene image into a short clip with `generate_video`, `model='i2v'`, `orientation='portrait'`, `resolution='720P'`, `duration` ~3–5s, `name='mind-stoic-clip-<n>'`, `entity_type='storyboard_videos'`. Pass each scene image's asset_id as `input_urls`. ### 5. Final mix - Stitch the clips in order with `mix_clips`, `orientation='portrait'`, `name='mind-stoic-final'`, `entity_type='final_videos'`. - Add the voiceover as the audio track (single `audio`), and burn in the narration as hard subtitles via `subtitles.items` (short cues matching the voice-over lines; for any non-Latin text set `font_name='Noto Sans CJK SC'`). - Optionally add a subtle background music bed via `generate_music` (calm, minimal, ambient) and mix it under the voiceover at low volume. ### 6. Deliver - Summarize the finished video in natural language (don't paste large URLs). Call `set_guidance` to suggest next actions (e.g. rewrite the script, restyle a scene, redo the voiceover, re-mix, or start a new topic). ## Notes - Every stage's assets appear on the canvas as they are produced; intermediate products are visible. - Report failures honestly and never fabricate URLs.
