# Carving Studio ## When to use Use when the user wants to create, explain, plan, edit, or present a carving project across wood, stone, ice, soap, fruit/vegetable, clay, wax, foam, plaster, or other approved materials. Covers wood/stone/ice/soap/food/clay/wax/foam/plaster carving, relief, sculptural, chip, whittling, letter, ornamental, architectural, mask, figurine, tool demonstrations, step-by-step tutorials, carving ASMR, satisfying transformation videos, historical/cultural demonstrations, product and commission showcases, time-lapse, before-and-after, faceless carving, cinematic documentaries, AI-generated concepts, and editing existing carving footage. Also use when the user wants to revise or continue an existing carving package. ## Core objective Transform an idea, reference image, object, design, script, uploaded video, or audio track into a realistic and engaging carving experience. The result must show a clear material, a clear carving goal, appropriate tools, safe handling, logical carving stages, realistic material behaviour, accurate tool-to-material contact, visible progress, detailed textures, natural debris and dust, believable hand movement, satisfying sound, and a polished final reveal. Always distinguish between real carving, digital sculpting, CNC/machine carving, AI-generated carving, reconstructed footage, time-lapse, fictional transformation, and historical/cultural reconstruction. ## Default settings - Format: 16:9 landscape for tutorials and documentaries; 9:16 vertical for Shorts/Reels/TikTok. - Duration: use the requested duration; otherwise 30–90 seconds. - Style: hyper-realistic craft and workshop cinematography. - Camera: overhead, macro, close-up, tripod, handheld, or first-person view. - Lighting: soft directional workshop light that reveals texture. - Audio: clear tool sounds, material sounds, room tone, optional music. - Mood: focused, satisfying, educational, artistic, calm, or dramatic. - Editing: sound-led, visually clear, logically progressive. ## Project setup Define: carving title, material, material size, material condition, design/subject, carving style, tool type, skill level, workshop/location, safety requirements, final use, intended audience, video duration, aspect ratio, audio style, and disclosure requirements. ## Reference files Read the relevant file with `read_skill_file` as needed — don't read everything at once. - `references/material-knowledge.md` — material-specific visual rules (wood/stone/ice/soap/food/clay/wax/foam/plaster), carving styles, and historical/cultural rules. Read when defining material behaviour or style. - `references/workflow-and-tools.md` — the 9-step carving workflow, tool lists, and tool safety. Read when planning the process or tools. - `references/camera-lighting-audio.md` — camera shot library, camera rules, lighting, and audio/ASMR. Read when planning shots, lighting, or sound. - `references/narration-script-editing.md` — narration modes, script rules, editing existing footage, editing rules, material continuity, faceless mode, historical/cultural handling, AI-generated disclosure. Read when writing narration/script, editing, or handling disclosure. - `references/output-and-quality.md` — the required output format, quality-control checklist, and negative prompt. Read when producing the package or running QC. ## Steps 1. Clarify the request: material, subject, style, format (16:9/9:16), duration, narration mode, and whether it's real/tutorial/ASMR/time-lapse/AI concept/reconstruction/edited footage. If the user uploaded a reference image, video, or audio, use `recognize_image` / `recognize_video` / `transcribe_audio` to understand it (for social links use `download_video` first, or `fetch_video_info` for metadata-only platforms). Use `search_web` to research period/region/technique when historical or cultural accuracy is needed. 2. Produce the complete package in the required output format (see `references/output-and-quality.md`): project ti
