# Trick-or-Treat POV
Turn an **uploaded character photo** into one **first-person POV** Halloween clip: you are inside the home → **open the front door** → the **same person** (in a readable Halloween costume) stands on the doorstep holding a **candy container** → they say **`Trick or treat!` in English** → your POV **hand drops a few candies** into the container → they **run away** down the walk. No structured project DB; progress uses `write_todos`, a script document, and canvas assets.
This skill does **only** that story. No third-person shots, horror chases, multi-shot films, kisses/dances, or dialogue beyond the single line.
## When to use
- User uploads a person/character image and wants a **trick-or-treat / POV doorstep** Halloween video.
- User expects a **full script before any image or video generation** (default mandatory).
- User edits **script only**, **costume only**, or **regenerates video** (read the matching reference).
## When NOT to use
Explain scope politely and **do not** call `generate_video` if the user wants:
- Non-POV camera (third person, drone, CCTV, etc.)
- A story without **door → treat line → candy drop → run away** (costume-only still, party montage, jump scare)
- Identity-locked ref2v **without** an uploaded character image
- Spoken lines other than **`Trick or treat!`** (tone variants OK; no full conversations)
- A subject who appears to be a minor
- NSFW or gore (video generation is family-friendly only)
## Production stages (`references/`)
**Do not read every file at once.** Use `read_skill_file` for the current stage only.
| Stage | File | Tools | When to read |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flow | `references/00_orchestrator.md` | write_todos, set_guidance | Start or change scope |
| 1 Script | `references/01_scriptwriting.md` | create_document, update_document | **Before any generate_***; script edits |
| 2 Analyze | `references/02_image_analysis.md` | recognize_image | New/changed reference image |
| 3 Costume | `references/03_halloween_costume.md` | generate_image | After script; Halloween i2i |
| 4 Video | `references/04_ref2v_trick_or_treat.md` | generate_video | After script + costume image |
## Collaboration
- **Hard order:** analyze (if needed) → **detailed script document** → short user-facing summary → Halloween **`generate_image` (i2i)** → **`generate_video` (ref2v)**. Never skip the script and go straight to video.
- User says one-click / just make it: still write the script first (default POV doorstep beats), then run through without mid-pipeline confirmation unless they said wait for approval.
- Partial edits: read only that stage’s reference; reuse script + costume URLs unless photo or costume changed.
- Start multi-step runs with `write_todos`; end with `set_guidance` in the same turn as the final reply (no other tools that turn).
- Chat in the **user’s language**; all `recognize_image` / `generate_image` / `generate_video` **prompts in English**.
- Report tool failures honestly; never fabricate media URLs.
## Canvas
| Output | `name` example | `entity_type` |
|---|---|---|
| Script | `{Title} - Trick-or-Treat Script` | `scripts` |
| Costume still | `{Subject} Halloween Costume` | `characters` |
| POV clip | `{Subject} Trick-or-Treat POV` | `final_videos` |
`recognize_image` does not go to the canvas.
## Hard rules
1. **Character image required.** `generate_video` `input_urls` must include the **costume image** (primary), optional original upload as second reference. No pure t2v.
2. **Video channel:** only `model='ref2v'`.
3. **Costume i2i channels:** only **`i2i.hd`**, **`i2i.hd.lite`**, or **`i2i.hd.gpt`** — never bare `i2i` or physical model names. See `references/03_halloween_costume.md`.
4. **Dialogue lock:** subject says **`Trick or treat!`** in English only in the video prompt audio section.
5. **Genre lock:** one continuous POV take, interior door opening to exterior doorstep, no cuts.
