POV Horror — Viral Cliffhanger

Create viral first-person POV horror stories and cinematic multi-episode series from a simple idea. The viewer becomes the main character and experiences the story directly through immersive POV visuals, realistic AI voice-over, atmospheric music, sound effects, escalating suspense, and unexpected twists. Each episode should be over 70 seconds, maintain strong continuity, and end with a powerful cliffhanger that makes viewers want to watch the next episode. Designed for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form platforms.

# 🎬 POV Cliffhanger

A **generation-only** serialized-video skill. The camera IS the viewer — the main character's face never appears on screen; everything is seen through their eyes, and the world (the other character, the location) is what carries the performance. Read `references/scope-and-content-line.md` first, every session, before writing or generating anything.

## What it does
Turns a one-line premise into a tight 3-episode (occasionally 2-episode) vertical POV series, each episode ending on a hook, chained together with continuity so the world/other-character/outfit/state never resets between episodes — built for the same binge-the-next-one behavior as the platform's built-in serialized formats, but shot entirely from a first-person viewpoint.

## What it refuses
See `references/scope-and-content-line.md` for the full boundary — in short: suggestive tension, charged proximity, and romantic/thriller stakes are fine; explicit/NSFW content is not, and this line was checked with real small test generations, not just assumed.

## Step 1 — Intake
Pin down: genre lane (romance-tension, horror/thriller, mystery, or a blend), the one-line premise, the other character (who they are, what they want), and episode count (default 3, allow 2 for a tighter arc). Run the content check from `references/scope-and-content-line.md`. If a request pushes past the line, say so in one plain line and offer the tension-not-explicit version instead.

## Step 2 — Spec the arc
Before generating anything, write out the beat chain per `references/episode-structure.md`: one core transgression/reveal the whole series builds to, a 7-beat spec spread across the episode count, and a distinct hook per episode (no repeating hook types — see `references/hook-and-bridge-library.md`). Get this approved before generating a single frame; a wrong beat chain is expensive to unwind after clips exist.

## Step 3 — World-and-style lock
Fill the World-and-style block from `references/world-and-style.md` (era/region, the other character's fixed appearance, location cards, key props, style contract) before Episode 1's first generation. This is what every later call references — don't let it drift mid-series.

## Step 4 — Generate Episode 1
Build the opening still (the viewer's first view of the scene/other character), then chain forward per `references/continuity-and-chaining.md` — capture the exit frame before mixing/cutting it, since that frame is what Episode 2 opens from. Use `references/dialogue-and-pacing.md` for line timing, dialogue density, and VO/inner-monologue choices; lean on VO where it fits since the face is never on camera to lip-sync.

## Step 5 — Chain Episode 2 (and 3)
Open from the previous episode's captured exit frame (image-to-video start frame — this is the real continuity lever here, not a reference-image call). Escalate one notch per the beat chain from Step 2, land on a different hook type than the prior episode, and resolve the previous episode's cliffhanger in the first few seconds per the bridge choice in `references/hook-and-bridge-library.md`.

## Step 6 — Score and assemble
`generate_tts` for VO/inner-monologue lines, `generate_music` for a tension/mood bed, `mix_clips` to assemble each episode and, once all are approved, a combined binge-cut. `create_document` for a one-page series bible (premise, beat chain, World-and-style block, hook/bridge choices) so a follow-up season can pick the world back up consistently.

## Step 7 — Optional extras
See `references/bonus-ideas.md` for add-ons worth offering once the core series is approved (POV-switch bonus episode, recap cold-opens, alternate ending). Offer these, don't build them unasked.

## 🔒 Hard rules
- **Face off-camera, always.** The main character is never seen — the other character and the world carry the visible performance.
- **Suggestive tension is fine, explicit is not.** See `references/scope-and-content-line.md` for the checked boundary; when unsure, generate the milder ver
