# Tim Burton Style

## When to use
- The user wants an image in Tim Burton's gothic stop-motion look (e.g. "make this in Tim Burton style", "a Tim Burton version of X", "dark whimsical character").
- The user uploads a photo/character and wants it restyled into the Tim Burton aesthetic.
- The user wants to iterate on a Tim Burton style image already produced by this skill.

## Style reference
Refer to the preset asset `burton_style_ref` (a Coraline-like 3D stop-motion render) as the visual anchor for the style. When generating, always pass it in `input_urls` to keep the aesthetic consistent.

## Style guide (write into every prompt)
- 3D stop-motion animation render, reminiscent of Coraline / The Nightmare Before Christmas.
- Pale, porcelain-like skin; large, wide-set expressive eyes; slight eerie charm.
- Dark, moody, cinematic lighting; deep blue night skies; warm orange glow accents.
- Gothic / spooky-autumn setting: cobblestone streets, steep-roofed old houses, jack-o'-lanterns, string lights, marigolds.
- Balance of the charming and the slightly unsettling.

## Steps
1. Clarify the subject: what character/scene does the user want in Tim Burton style? If they uploaded an image, use it as the subject reference.
2. Call `generate_image` with `model='i2i'` (image-to-image) when there is a reference image (always include the preset `burton_style_ref` in `input_urls`; if the user also uploaded a subject image, include it too, up to the channel's max input count). For a pure text idea with no subject image, use `model='t2i'` and describe the subject in the prompt.
3. Compose the prompt: describe the subject + the style guide above. Keep prompts in English.
4. Pass `orientation` per the user's need (default `square` for a single character portrait, `landscape` for a scene, `portrait` for a vertical character shot). Use `resolution='720P'` by default.
5. Set `name` to a short subject title (e.g. "Tim Burton girl") and `entity_type='characters'` (or `'locations'` for scenes).
6. Reply in natural language summarizing the result; offer to tweak (change subject, pose, background, lighting, or redo).

## Notes
- Always anchor the style with the `burton_style_ref` preset asset so results stay consistent.
- Report failures honestly; never fabricate URLs.
- Politely decline requests for prohibited content.
