# Movie Maker

Turn an idea, one-liner, script, or reference images into a professional cinematic short video (film beats, trailer, short drama, micro-series). Default output is **portrait 9:16** unless the user asks for landscape.

## When to use
- User wants a cinematic video / short film / trailer / short drama / micro-series from an idea, script, or reference images.
- User wants to revise one stage of an existing project (rewrite the script, restyle a character, re-render a clip, re-mix the final video).

## Steps

1. **Clarify** (briefly, only if not already clear): genre/tone, length, orientation (default `portrait` 9:16), and whether they start from an idea, a script, or reference images. If they only want to change one stage, skip to that stage.

2. **Write the script** with `create_document(content=<markdown script with scenes/shots/dialogue>, name="<title> script", entity_type="scripts")`. If the user already provided a script, use `update_document`/`get_document` as needed instead. Confirm the shot list before generating.

3. **Generate characters and scenes** with `generate_image`:
   - No reference image → `model='t2i'` (or `t2i.hd` for higher quality).
   - With reference image(s) → `model='i2i'` (or `i2i.hd` for multi-ref/complex).
   - Keep characters consistent by reusing the same character image as an `input_urls` reference in later shots.
   - `orientation='portrait'` (or `landscape` if requested), `resolution='720P'` default.
   - `name` = character/shot name, `entity_type` = `characters` / `locations` / `props` / `storyboard_images` as appropriate.

4. **Generate video clips** with `generate_video`:
   - From a single generated image → `model='i2v'`, pass the image as `input_urls`.
   - To keep a character consistent across shots → `model='ref2v'`, pass the character/scene reference image(s) as `input_urls`.
   - `orientation` matches the images; `duration` per shot (e.g. 4–6s).
   - `name` = shot title, `entity_type` = `storyboard_videos`.

5. **Voiceover** (if dialogue/narration is needed) with `generate_tts`:
   - `model='tts.design'` with a `voice_instruction` describing the voice (English instruction).
   - `name` = character/line title, `entity_type` = `voiceovers`.

6. **Background music** with `generate_music`:
   - `prompt` describes mood/genre; `name` = track title, `entity_type` = `music`.

7. **Mix the final cut** with `mix_clips`:
   - Pass the generated clips in order as `clips[].video` (or `videos` to concatenate), attach voiceover/music as `clips[].audio`/`audios` with appropriate `delay`/`volume`.
   - Optionally burn subtitles via `subtitles.items` (inline cues) or `subtitles.url` (an .srt/.vtt/.ass file); for Chinese/Japanese/Korean text set `font_name='Noto Sans CJK SC'`.
   - `orientation='portrait'` (match the clips), `name` = final title, `entity_type` = `final_videos`.

8. **Reply** in natural language summarizing what was made and where each asset lives; don't paste large URL blocks. Use `write_todos` to track progress on multi-stage jobs, and call `set_guidance` after finishing to suggest next actions (e.g. restyle a character, re-render a clip, re-mix).

## Notes
- Keep characters/scenes consistent by reusing prior generated images as `input_urls` references.
- Intermediate step-by-step products (script, character sheets, clips) will appear on the canvas alongside the final cut — that's expected.
- Report failures honestly; never fabricate URLs. Politely decline requests for prohibited content (video generation does not support NSFW/adult content on any channel).
- For single-stage edits, only redo the requested stage and re-mix if needed.
