Minecraft Storyboard Shorts
Minecraft Storyboard Shorts is an automated skill that turns a single image and a story topic into a full realistic 3D Minecraft video. What it does: Takes ONE Minecraft image (character, mob, or scene) + ONE story topic and builds an 8-frame storyboard Turns the storyboard into a ~30-second 9:16 vertical video (YouTube Shorts) All image generation is powered by GPT Image 2.5 The final video is in realistic 3D Minecraft style — just like the real game (blocky voxel world, 3D lighting, game-like textures) Workflow: Image + topic → character identity is analyzed 8-frame storyboard (hook → twist → "VA!" payoff) Frames are animated into 3 segments of ~10 seconds each Stitched into one ~30-second final video Extras: Draws the characters itself if you don't provide an image Re-render a single frame Continue with a new topic.

# Minecraft Storyboard → 30-Second Short Video ## When to use - The user provides ONE reference image (a Minecraft character/mob/scene) + ONE story topic and wants an 8-frame storyboard and/or a ~30s 9:16 vertical short video (YouTube Shorts) set in the Minecraft world. - The user wants to redo or change a single step (regenerate the storyboard, re-render a shot, re-mix the video). ## Language - The skill's primary/default language is **English**: all tool-facing prompts, storyboard captions, and default narration are written in English. - Reply to the user in the **same language they use** in their message (Uzbek, Russian, English, etc.). Match the user's language for replies and any on-screen dialogue unless they explicitly request otherwise. ## Core workflow IMAGE + TOPIC → analyze reference → 8-frame Minecraft storyboard → continuity check → 30s 9:16 video in realistic 3D Minecraft style. ## Steps 1. **Gather inputs.** Confirm the user has provided ONE reference image and ONE story topic. If the user did NOT provide a story topic, invent one yourself using the viral story engine in `references/storyboard-rules.md`. The visual style is **fixed to realistic 3D Minecraft** — just like the real game (blocky voxel world, 3D lighting, textures). Do not ask the user to pick a style; always produce the final video in this 3D Minecraft look. 2. **Obtain the reference image.** If the user provided a reference image, use it. If they did NOT provide one (e.g. they ask you to draw the characters yourself), generate the reference image yourself using `generate_image(model='t2i.hd', orientation='portrait', resolution='720P', name='Minecraft <character> Reference', entity_type='characters')` — describe the 3D Minecraft character/mob/scene in detail. 3. **Analyze the reference** with `recognize_image` to lock the subject's identity (face, skin/hair, body proportions, clothing + colors, accessories, environment, rendering style). This identity must remain recognizable through the 3D transformation. If the subject is a Minecraft character/mob, note its blocky proportions and signature colors. 4. **Create the storyboard sheet.** Generate ONE single tall 9:16 canvas with EXACTLY 8 panels laid out as F1|F2 / F3|F4 / F5|F6 / F7|F8. F1 = the original fully-rendered character reference + story setup (instant hook). F2–F8 = black-pencil-on-white-paper storyboard sketches (no black silhouettes; white interiors). Follow `references/storyboard-rules.md` for the viral story engine (hook → curiosity → twist → escalation → bigger problem → false solution → major twist → "VA!" payoff + rewatch loop). Keep the Minecraft setting (blocks, biomes, mobs, tools) consistent throughout. - Call `generate_image(model='i2i.hd', input_urls=[reference image], orientation='portrait', resolution='720P', name='Minecraft Storyboard - <topic>', entity_type='storyboard_images')`. 5. **Continuity check.** Verify exactly 8 panels, sequential, no duplicates, identity/clothing/environment consistent, every shot composed natively for 9:16. If a panel is wrong, regenerate. 6. **Convert storyboard to video.** Split the sheet into 8 panels with `split_image(rows=4, cols=2)`. Recreate each shot in the **realistic 3D Minecraft style** (blocky voxel world, 3D lighting, game-like textures) and animate. Because a single ref2v clip is capped at 10s, produce 3 segments of ~10s each (each covering ~2–3 shots) with `generate_video(model='ref2v', input_urls=[relevant panels], duration=10, orientation='portrait', resolution='720P', name='Minecraft Segment N - <topic>', entity_type='storyboard_videos')`. Note: `ref2v` treats the input panels as **identity/style references** (to keep the subject consistent), not as a strict frame-by-frame sequence — describe the desired motion for each segment in the prompt. Follow `references/video-rules.md`. 7. **Stitch into one ~30s video** with `mix_clips(... name='<topic> - 30s Minecraft', entity_type='final_videos', orientation='portrait')`. 8. **D
