# Expression Reference Sheet Turns one uploaded portrait into a single reference-sheet image: the same person shown six times, six different facial expressions, laid out in a 3-column x 2-row grid on a clean white page with an English title at the top. There is no structured project state — the uploaded photo plus this conversation are the whole input. ## When to use - The user uploads (or points at) a portrait and asks for an "expression sheet", "expression reference sheet", "six expressions", "emotion sheet", "face expression grid", or "same person with different expressions". - The user already got a sheet from this skill and asks to redo it with a different theme, outfit, expression order, or panel count. - The user asks to keep a character's identity while changing expressions in a grid layout. Do not use it for: a single portrait retouch (that is plain image-to-image), multi-scene storyboards, or video. ## Inputs and outputs - **Reference image (required):** one portrait photo of the person. It is the identity anchor and is passed to the generation tool as `input_urls`. - **Text (optional):** theme or instructions, e.g. "winter look", "office outfit", "use these six expressions: ...", "8 panels", "keep the hair exactly". Empty text means the default studio look defined in the style reference. - **Output:** one image asset on the canvas — the finished expression reference sheet. How inputs map into the prompt: - The uploaded photo supplies **identity only** (face shape, eyes, brows, nose, lips, skin tone, apparent age, hairstyle). Never describe a different face. - The text supplies **theme / wardrobe / scene / expression order / panel count** overrides. Anything the text does not mention falls back to the defaults in `references/style-and-prompt.md`. ## Steps 1. Read the request and the attached photo. Confirm there is exactly one person in the photo. If there is no photo, ask for one; do not invent a face. If there are several people, ask which one to use. If the text is empty, proceed with defaults. 2. If the photo is small, blurry, angled, or partly covered, call `recognize_image` on it with an English prompt such as: "Describe this person's face precisely for an identity anchor: face shape, jawline, eye shape and spacing, eyebrows, nose, lips, skin tone, apparent age, hairstyle (length, part, color, texture), and any distinctive marks." Use the returned description as identity anchor lines in the prompt. Do not paste raw tool output to the user. 3. Call `read_skill_file` with `path="references/style-and-prompt.md"` and follow its conventions to build the full English prompt: style (color, material, light), subject/content, layout, must-keep, must-avoid, and the prompt template with your theme/expression overrides filled in. 4. Call `read_skill_file` with `path="references/step-details.md"` and run its pre-flight checklist before generating, plus its theme branching, post-generation check, and retry rules. 5. Call `generate_image`: - `prompt`: the complete English prompt from steps 3–4 (it must state the 3x2 grid, the six expressions in order, the English title, the identity anchors, the unified background/lighting, and the must-avoid list). - `input_urls`: the uploaded portrait only (asset reference of the user's photo). Do not add stock or generated images. - `model='i2i.hd.lite'` — image-to-image is required because identity must come from the uploaded photo. Never use a text-to-image channel here. - `orientation='portrait'` (the sheet is taller than wide). Pass `aspect_ratio='3:4'` only if the user explicitly asks for that exact ratio. - `resolution='2K'` so the six faces stay legible; if the channel caps it, the platform downgrades automatically — do not fight the adjustment. - `name='Expression Reference Sheet'`, `entity_type='characters'`. 6. Inspect the result against the check list in `references/step-details.md`. If the identity drifted, the panel count or order is wrong, or the ti
