# Christian Prayer Reel Generator

Produces a full plain-text prompt package for a vertical (9:16) Christian prayer/
affirmation reel: a script arc from hook to closing declaration, and one complete
image + animation + audio prompt per line, ready to paste into any AI image/video
tool (Grok, Kling, Runway, Flow, Midjourney/Flux for stills, etc.).

## When to use
- The user asks for a prayer video, affirmation reel, devotional reel, faith or Christian short-form video, prayer script with visuals, worship reel, or scripture-inspired vertical video — even if they don't name the format explicitly.
- The user wants a prompt package (not an actual rendered video) they can run through their own AI video tool.

## Non-negotiable rules (apply to every clip, every time)

1. **No branding.** No watermark, no logo, no handle/username, no channel name,
no on-screen attribution of any kind, anywhere in any prompt. State this
explicitly as a negative in every base image prompt.
2. **No baked-in caption text in the image/video prompt.** The caption line is
delivered separately (as its own field) so it can be added cleanly in editing —
don't ask the image model to render the words, since AI text rendering is
   unreliable and looks cheap.
3. **Visuals must be dynamic, not static devotional stock photography.** Every
clip needs actual motion driving meaning — something breaking, opening,
rising, spreading, catching light, releasing — not a pretty still frame with
a slow pan added after the fact. See "Motion is the message" below.
4. **Visuals must be specifically symbolic of THAT line**, not interchangeable
nature filler. See `references/symbolism-library.md`. If a visual would work
equally well under a different line unchanged, it's too generic — sharpen it.
5. **Hook first.** The very first clip and its line are the highest-leverage
3 seconds of the whole reel. See `references/hook-library.md`.

## Workflow

### Step 1 — Confirm length
If the user hasn't specified, ask them to pick: **1, 2, 3, or 4 minutes.** Use
this to set clip count via the table below. Don't default silently — length
changes pacing, arc shape, and how many distinct symbolic beats you need, so
get it explicitly.

### Step 2 — Confirm or infer the prayer theme
Pull the theme from what the user already said. If it's not stated or unclear,
ask (or offer 3-4 sensible options): deliverance, gratitude, breakthrough,
healing, protection, spiritual warfare/standing firm, surrender, hope in
hardship, resurrection/victory, guidance, worship/awe, or provision. The user
can also give you a custom theme, a specific verse, or a specific life
situation ("prayer for someone job-hunting," "prayer for a marriage") — treat
that as the theme and build the arc around it directly.

### Step 3 — Pick clip count from length

| Length | Clips | Clip duration | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 min (60s) | 7 | ~8-9s each | Hook + 5 build lines + 1 closing declaration |
| 2 min (120s) | 14 | ~8-9s each | Hook + 12 build lines + 1 closing declaration |
| 3 min (180s) | 21 | ~8-9s each | Hook + 19 build lines + 1 closing declaration |
| 4 min (240s) | 28 | ~8-9s each | Hook + 26 build lines + 1 closing declaration |

8-9s is used as the standard clip length because it's the safe common denominator
across most current AI video tools' single-generation limits — keeps the package
usable regardless of which tool the user runs it through. If the user names a
specific tool with a different native clip cap, adjust the table's clip count
math to that tool's max instead (recompute clips = total seconds / tool's max
clip length, rounding to whole clips).

### Step 4 — Write the full script arc first, before any visuals
Write all the caption lines top-to-bottom as a block, in order, before touching
prompts. This keeps the emotional arc coherent instead of drifting clip by clip.
Arc shape:

1. **Hook** (clip 1) — see `references/hook-library.md`. Must land in ~2-3
   seconds. This is not
