Comic Art Animator
was: My comic panels needed motion, not a fresh redraw. now: I upload the drawing, describe the action, and get a 5 or 10 second animated clip in the original art style. Artwork -> animated action clip. Options: Image, description, and 5 or 10 second duration. Output defaults to 16:9 landscape. Tip: Keep the action description focused. Less movement usually reads more clearly.

# Comic Art Animator Your panels stop being still. Upload a drawn character, describe the move, and it leaps off the page as an animated clip in the original art style. ## When to use - The user wants to animate their comic, manga, anime or illustrated character into a short action clip (bring my drawing to life, animate artwork) - Another take with a different length or orientation Not for: Still images only. ## Inputs and gates | Input | Required | Default | Gate | |---|---|---|---| | Image | Yes | — | The picture to animate; one clear main subject | | Description | Yes | — | What the user wants; merged into the prompt | | Duration | No | `5` | 5 or 10 seconds (default 5) | | Orientation | No | `16:9` landscape | Other ratios on request | - If the person may be under 18, stop and decline politely. Real-person photos must be of adults the user has the right to use. - Video does not allow NSFW content: keep wardrobe fully covering and refuse sexual requests. Suggestive fashion looks stay as still images. ## Steps 1. Read `references/video-motion.md`. 2. `recognize_image(image_url=<image>, prompt='Describe the main subject, style and composition in one line')`. 3. `generate_video(prompt=<MOTION>, input_urls=[image], model='i2v', orientation='landscape', aspect_ratio='16:9', duration=<d>, name='Comic Art Animator', entity_type='final_videos')`. 4. Reply in one or two sentences, e.g. "Your comic art animator is ready. Want another take with 10 seconds (default 5)?" Results appear on the canvas; never paste URLs. ## Prompt templates **MOTION** (motion only; the frame already shows the look) ```text Starting from this exact frame: <one clear motion arc for this concept: animate the illustrated character in its original art style, keeping line work, colors and design unchanged, with dynamic anime-style action and energetic camera>, beginning, peak and settle in one continuous shot. Camera: <one move: slow push-in, gentle orbit, or static>. The same face and outfit throughout. Cinematic, no text. ``` ## Failure handling - `success=false`: say what failed in one sentence; retry once only if transient; never invent links. - Content-policy rejection on video: soften wording and retry once; otherwise offer the keyframe as a still. - Identity drifts: offer to regenerate. ## Examples **Default**: the user says "here's my selfie, do it" with a photo. Use duration `5`, 16:9. Reply: "Your comic art animator is ready." **Variation**: "love it, make another". Keep the same inputs and change one option (10 seconds (default 5)). **Missing input**: no photo was sent. Ask: "Send one clear photo where your face is easy to see, and I'll start." ## References - `references/video-motion.md`
