# Children of God Shorts

## When to use
- The user wants a new "Children of God" children's Bible short (interactive "Find It!" / "Can you find the hidden heart?" style, ~45–60 seconds, YouTube Short, 9:16) that teaches God's love.
- The user wants to revise one scene, one beat, the script, a still, or the final mix of an existing Children of God short.

## Reference files
- `references/script-template.md`: the 9-scene "Find It!" structure with timings, dialogue, and on-screen text. Read before writing the script.
- `references/style-guide.md`: the recurring visual style (three familiar children, colorful garden, the same big tree, golden glow, hearts/sparkles). Read before generating images so the series stays consistent.

## Built-in memory (series consistency)
- Before generating, call `memory_query` for the series' recurring details (the three children's appearance, the signature tree, the user's logo, any established episode conventions). If found, reuse them so every episode stays consistent.
- After the user confirms a new short, call `memory_store` to persist any new series facts worth keeping (e.g. a newly defined child's look, a new signature element, the logo asset reference). Use `kind='project'` for series-level facts and `kind='preference'` for the user's style preferences.
- If the user says "forget/change" a stored detail, use `memory_query` to find it, then `memory_forget`.

## Steps
1. First use `write_todos` to list the stages, and update the whole list as you progress.
2. **Script** — read `references/script-template.md`, then write the short's script (title, pillar, length, format, theme, and the 9 scenes with timings/dialogue/on-screen text) as a document with `create_document(content=..., name="<title> script", entity_type="scripts")`. Confirm the structure with the user before generating.
3. **Scene stills** — generate one portrait still per scene with `generate_image(model='t2i', orientation='portrait', resolution='720P', entity_type='storyboard_images', name='scene N - <short desc>')`, following `references/style-guide.md` and any remembered series details for consistent characters, garden, and tree. Keep the three children's look identical across all stills.
4. **Clips** — turn each still into a short motion clip with `generate_video(model='i2v', input_urls=[<still asset_id>], orientation='portrait', entity_type='storyboard_videos', name='clip N - <short desc>')`. Keep each clip ~5–8s; the countdown and panning scenes get slightly longer clips.
5. **Voiceover** — generate the narrator/children lines with `generate_tts(model='tts.design', voice_instruction='warm, gentle, child-friendly narrator', entity_type='voiceovers', name='<title> voiceover')`.
6. **Music** — generate a soft, uplifting children's background track with `generate_music(prompt='...', entity_type='music', name='<title> music')`.
7. **Final mix** — stitch the clips in scene order and lay the voiceover + music over them with `mix_clips(clips=[...], orientation='portrait', entity_type='final_videos', name='<title> short')`. Match clip order to the script's scene order.
8. Reply in natural language summarizing the finished short; call `set_guidance` to suggest next actions (e.g. tweak a scene, restyle a still, make the next episode).

## Notes
- Keep the series consistent: same three children, same garden, same big tree, same golden-glow signature ending, and the "CHILDREN OF GOD · Little Stories. Big Faith." outro with the user's logo.
- This is a children's, family-friendly series — keep all content wholesome and non-violent. Politely decline any request to make it adult/NSFW.
- Intermediate products (stills, clips, voiceover, music) will appear on the canvas alongside the final cut; that is expected.
- Report failures honestly and never fabricate URLs.
