# Gothic Horror Short

## When to use
- The user wants a vertical (9:16) gothic horror short of about 3 minutes for short-drama / social platforms, starting from an idea, a one-liner, a draft, or reference images.
- The user wants to advance or change only one stage of an existing gothic horror short (rewrite the script, generate the next clip, restyle a character, mix the episode).

## Reference files
- `references/gothic-style-guide.md`: gothic horror visual style guide. Read it before generating any image so all shots share a consistent look.
- `references/script-template.md`: 3-minute script structure and format. Read it before writing the script.

## Steps
1. **Clarify** the idea if needed (premise, protagonist, setting, tone, language of dialogue). If the user only wants to change one stage, skip to that stage directly.
2. **Write the script** (if not already provided): read `references/script-template.md`, then call `create_document(content=<full markdown script>, name="script", entity_type="scripts", content_type="text/markdown")`. If the user later wants changes, use `update_document(asset_id=<script id>, content=<new full text>)` — never create a second script.
3. **Storyboard images**: read `references/gothic-style-guide.md`, then for each shot call `generate_image(model='t2i', orientation='portrait', resolution='720P', prompt=<English gothic description>, name="shot_XX", entity_type="storyboard_images")`. Keep the same protagonist/character design across shots by reusing the same descriptive identity in every prompt.
4. **Generate clips**: for each storyboard image call `generate_video(model='i2v', orientation='portrait', input_urls=[<storyboard image asset_id>], prompt=<motion description>, name="clip_XX", entity_type="storyboard_videos")`. Describe subtle, cinematic motion (candle flicker, fog drift, slow dolly, a figure turning).
5. **Voiceover** (optional): for each dialogue/narration line call `generate_tts(model='tts.design', voice_instruction=<e.g. low, slow, ominous female voice>, text=<line>, name="vo_XX", entity_type="voiceovers")`.
6. **Music** (optional): call `generate_music(prompt=<dark gothic orchestral / eerie ambient description>, name="soundtrack", entity_type="music")`.
7. **Mix the final cut**: call `mix_clips(clips=[<one clip config per clip, in order, each with video=<clip asset_id> and optional audio=<vo asset_id> and/or music>], name="final_cut", entity_type="final_videos", orientation='portrait')`. If subtitles are wanted, pass `subtitles.items` with the dialogue lines and their timings.
8. **Reply** in natural language summarizing what was produced; call `set_guidance` to suggest next actions (e.g. "rewrite the script", "generate the next clip", "restyle the protagonist", "mix the episode").

## Notes
- Always keep the output vertical: `orientation='portrait'` (9:16) for images, clips, and the final mix.
- Gothic horror look: dark Victorian setting, candlelight, fog, chiaroscuro, muted palette (deep blacks, blood red, bone white, teal) — see `references/gothic-style-guide.md`.
- Intermediate products (storyboard images, clips, voiceovers) will appear on the canvas alongside the final cut; this is expected.
- Report failures honestly, never fabricate URLs, and politely decline requests for prohibited content. Video generation does not support NSFW/adult content on any channel.
- If the user wants to change only one stage, edit just that stage and re-run only the affected steps; don't regenerate everything unless asked.
