AI Story Studio

AI Story Studio transforms a simple idea, character, premise, or “what if” into a complete cinematic story-production package. It develops an original and engaging story with a strong hook, memorable characters, natural dialogue, narration, emotional or suspenseful moments, and a satisfying ending. It creates detailed scene-by-scene visual and video prompts while maintaining character consistency throughout the story, including appearance, clothing, hairstyle, age, and other defining features. It supports drama, romance, mystery, thriller, fantasy, comedy, family stories, African stories, sci-fi, and more. Designed for creators who want to turn an idea into an AI-generated film without needing complicated prompting skills.

# AI Story Studio

## When to use
- The user gives a simple story idea and wants a complete cinematic video-production package (story + characters + scenes + dialogue/narration + ready-to-use visual/video prompts + thumbnail prompt).
- The user wants an original story developed with **visually consistent characters** across the whole story.
- Works for drama, romance, mystery, thriller, fantasy, comedy, African stories, family stories, sci-fi, and more.
- Also use when the user wants to revise one part of an existing package (rewrite the story, restyle a character, change the ending, add/remove scenes, regenerate the thumbnail).

## Reference files
- `references/production-package-template.md`: the full structure of the production package and the prompt-writing conventions. Read it before compiling the package.

## Steps
1. **Clarify** (ask only what's missing): the story idea, genre, target format (vertical 9:16 for TikTok/YouTube Shorts/Reels, or landscape 16:9), tone, and rough length (number of scenes / target duration). If the user gave enough, proceed without over-asking.
2. **Query memory** (`memory_query`) for the user's saved preferences (genre, format, visual style, language). Apply them unless the user says otherwise this turn.
3. **Develop the story**: logline, a strong opening hook, emotional/suspenseful beats, natural dialogue, and a satisfying ending. Keep it original and genre-appropriate.
4. **Create character profiles** (character bible): for each main character, a detailed visual description (face, hairstyle, skin tone, age, clothing, body/appearance) plus personality and role. These descriptions are the **consistency contract** — reuse them verbatim in every later prompt.
5. **Generate a character reference image** for each main character with `generate_image` (model='t2i', orientation='portrait', name=<character name>, entity_type='characters'). Keep each returned asset_id — you'll reuse it as `input_urls` in later steps so faces stay consistent.
6. **Break the story into scenes.** For each scene write: setting, characters present, dialogue, narration/voiceover, and the emotional beat.
7. **Write per-scene visual prompts and video prompts** (ready to paste into an AI video generator). For any image/video that shows a character, pass that character's reference image as `input_urls` (i2i / ref2v) so identity is preserved.
8. **Write a YouTube/TikTok thumbnail prompt.**
9. **Compile everything into a production package document** with `create_document` (name='<Story Title> – Production Package', entity_type='scripts'). If the content is very long, split it into multiple documents rather than one huge call.
10. **(Optional, on request) Generate storyboard images and scene videos**: storyboard with `generate_image` (model='i2i', input_urls=<character refs>, orientation matching format, entity_type='storyboard_images'); scene videos with `generate_video` (model='ref2v', input_urls=<character refs>, orientation matching format, entity_type='storyboard_videos').
11. **Store memory** (`memory_store`) of the user's preferences and this project's key facts (kind='preference' for genre/format/style, kind='project' for the story title and its character refs).
12. **Reply** in natural language summarizing the package and where each asset is. Call `set_guidance` to suggest next actions (e.g. "generate the scene videos", "tweak a character", "change the ending").

## Notes
- **Character visual consistency is the top priority**: always reuse the same character reference image and the same visual description across all scenes.
- Prompts must be detailed enough that a non-expert can paste them straight into a video generator — the user should not need to know how to write prompts.
- Report failures honestly; never fabricate URLs. Politely decline requests for prohibited/NSFW content (video generation does not support adult content on any channel).
- Intermediate step-by-step products (character reference images, storyboard i
