# Mandelbrot Scenery Reel

## When to use
- The user wants a vertical (9:16) reel/short where the camera dives into the screen through scenes like a Mandelbrot-set zoom — each scene opens as a "vista window" that the camera flies through into the next, with fast, rhythmic, seamless transitions and no dead gaps.
- The tone is fun, comedic, realistic-cinematic (e.g. aliens crashing a heavy-metal Halloween party full of witches, surprises and horror-fun the audience can laugh at).
- The user provides a one-line idea, a script, or reference images (uploaded stills to reuse and to inspire new original images).
- The user wants to redo or tweak one stage: rewrite the script, generate the next clip, restyle a character, or re-mix the episode.

## Style rules (apply to every stage)
- **Format**: always `orientation='portrait'` (9:16). Resolution `720P` default, `1080P` for the final mix.
- **Signature transition**: scenes dive into the screen like a Mandelbrot-set zoom — a vista window opens, the camera plunges through it into the next scene, then the next window opens. Keep the flow continuous: end each clip on a forward-dive motion and start the next on the same dive so cuts feel seamless.
- **Pacing**: fast, rhythmic scene exchange; short punchy beats; no dead time between scenes.
- **Look**: realistic cinematic, fun and comedic, VR-style depth and motion. Keep the heavy-metal Halloween party world consistent across scenes (aliens, witches, mosh pit, pumpkin stage, UFO lightshow).
- **Comedy**: play the aliens as deadpan/awkward fish-out-of-water at a wild metal party; build to a funny payoff.

## Steps
1. **Understand the idea.** If the user uploaded reference images, call `recognize_image` on each to capture the world/characters/style. Lock the premise (e.g. "aliens crash a heavy-metal Halloween party"). First use `write_todos` to list the stages and update it as you progress.
2. **Write the script/storyboard.** Call `create_document` with `name="reel script"`, `entity_type="scripts"`. Break the ~3-minute reel into ~10–14 short scenes, each with: a one-line visual, the Mandelbrot-dive transition into it, the comedic beat, and the punchline. Keep the party world consistent.
3. **Generate storyboard images.** For each scene call `generate_image` with `orientation='portrait'`, `entity_type="storyboard_images"`, `name="scene N - <title>"`. Use `model='i2i'` when reusing uploaded reference images (pass their `asset_id`/`s3://` uri in `input_urls`), or `model='t2i'` for brand-new original scenes. Keep characters/locations consistent across scenes.
4. **Generate video clips.** For each storyboard image call `generate_video` with `model='i2v'` (or `model='ref2v'` with reference images for consistent identity), `orientation='portrait'`, `entity_type="storyboard_videos"`, `name="clip N - <title>"`. Prompt each clip to end on a forward-dive motion so the next clip's dive continues seamlessly.
5. **Generate audio.** Call `generate_music` (`model='music'`, `entity_type="music"`, `name="reel soundtrack"`) for a driving, fun heavy-metal Halloween track. If dialogue/voiceover is wanted, call `generate_tts` (`model='tts.design'` with a comedic `voice_instruction`, `entity_type="voiceovers"`) for the alien/witch lines.
6. **Mix the final reel.** Call `mix_clips` with all clips in order (`orientation='portrait'`, `entity_type="final_videos"`, `name="final reel"`), attaching the soundtrack (and voiceover) as audio tracks. Aim for a ~3-minute continuous cut with no gaps.
7. **Deliver.** Summarize the finished reel in natural language. Call `set_guidance` to offer next steps (rewrite the script, generate the next clip, restyle a character, re-mix).

## Notes
- Intermediate products (script, storyboard images, clips) will be visible on the canvas — that's expected.
- Report failures honestly; never fabricate URLs. Video generation does not support NSFW/adult content — keep the comedy fun and non-explicit.
