Photoreal Character Sheet

When I hit the beat drop at a crosswalk, I wanted one solid character reference for later clips. This turns an adult photo into a clean, photoreal character sheet with front, side and back views, expressions, face close-ups and alternate angles. **tips from me:** - use a clear adult photo with the face facing forward - keep the original outfit or switch to neutral studio basics - the default ratio is 4:3, while 1:1 and 16:9 also work - add a description for any specific outfit details you want post the character sheet you make, I’m curious what you’ll use it for.

# Photoreal Character Sheet

One person, every angle. Your photo becomes a clean photoreal character sheet: front, side and back full-body views, a row of expressions, face-part close-ups and alternate angles — ready for consistent characters.

## When to use

- The user wants a photorealistic character reference sheet of the person in their photo (full-body turnaround, expressions, face-part details, alternate angles for identity consistency)
- A variation on a previous result: neutral studio basics

Not for: stylized or cartoon turnarounds, multi-person sheets, or video output (use a video skill).

## Inputs and gates

| Input | Required | Default | Gate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Photo | Yes | — | One adult with the face clearly visible. Ask for another photo if the face is tiny, blurred, heavily covered or in profile |
| Description | No | tuned default below | What the user wants; merged into the prompt |
| Outfit | No | `keep original` | keep original (default), neutral studio basics, or user-described |
| Ratio | No | `4:3 default` | 4:3 default; 16:9, 1:1 on request |

- If the person may be under 18, stop and decline politely. Real-person photos must be of adults the user has the right to use.
- Fashion, dark and horror themes are fine as stills; refuse explicit sexual content and anything sexualizing minors.

## Steps

1. Read `references/image-edit.md` for prompt structure.
2. **Identity read**: `recognize_image(image_url=<photo>, prompt='Describe this adult for identity preservation: face shape, eye shape and color, brows, nose, lips, skin tone, apparent age range, hair color and length, distinctive marks, glasses. One compact line.')`.
3. **Generate**: `generate_image(prompt=<PROMPT>, input_urls=[photo], model='i2i.hd', orientation='landscape', aspect_ratio='4:3', name='Photoreal Character Sheet', entity_type='skill_generation')`. Merge the user's details and options into the template.
4. **Self-check, one retry**: look at the result. If a person photo was used and the face no longer reads as the same person, regenerate with the identity clause first. If someone glancing at it would not instantly see the intended change (it reads as a light filter, the old clothes or background remain, or the style is faint), regenerate once with the change described bigger and more concretely.
5. Reply in one or two sentences, e.g. "Done! Here's your photoreal character sheet. I can also try neutral studio basics if you like." Results appear on the canvas; never paste URLs.

## Prompt templates

**PROMPT**

```text
The same adult from the reference: <identity line>. Same face structure, eyes, skin tone and recognizable likeness; no beautification or face reshaping. Intentional changes: a photorealistic character reference sheet of the same adult on a clean light-gray studio background, neatly laid out in labeled-free panels: full-body front, three-quarter, side and back views in the same outfit; a row of five head close-ups with neutral, smiling, laughing, surprised and serious expressions; detail crops of eyes, nose, lips, ears and hairline; plus two alternate camera angles from above and below; consistent even studio light, identical face, hair and outfit in every panel. <user details and options>. Keep every panel photoreal and consistent: same skin texture, same outfit details and accessories in each view, evenly spaced panels on one sheet. Lighting and materials described concretely; composition suited to landscape 4:3. Photoreal, fully clothed, no text unless requested.
```

Quality bar: A usable reference sheet: every panel shows the same person and outfit, the views are true front, three-quarter, side and back, the five expressions are clearly distinct, and the layout is clean with no text.

## Failure handling

- `success=false`: say what failed in one sentence; retry once only if transient; never invent links.
- The face changes: regenerate once with the identity clause first; then say so honestly.
